These terms cover the free diagnosis, paid reviews and fixes, and use of this website. I've kept them in plain words. If a written quote I send you says something different, the quote wins for that job.

Who you're dealing with

Noumenon is run by Guy Levi through GL FIX LLC, a limited liability company in Florida, United States. In these terms, “I,” “me” and “Noumenon” mean that business, and “you” means the person or company asking for help. You need to be at least 18 and able to agree to a contract.

The free diagnosis

You describe one problem and give me a way to see it. I reproduce it, find what's causing it, and tell you in plain words what fixing it would take and cost. It's free and doesn't commit you to anything.

The diagnosis covers the problem you describe, not your whole app. It's my honest assessment from the access I have, not a promise that a fix is possible. I can decline any request, for example when I can't get the access I need or the work is outside what I do.

Quotes

Before any paid work, I email you a written quote with the scope, the price, the timeframe, and the checks that will show the job is done. Nothing is charged until you accept it.

The price is fixed for that scope. If the work turns out to need more, I tell you and ask first. You're never billed for work you didn't approve.

Paying

Written reviews and fixes are paid when you accept the quote, by card through a secure payment link. For jobs quoted over 1,000 USD, half is due to start and half on delivery.

If you book a fix for the same app within 30 days of a written review, the review price counts toward the fix.

If you cancel before I start, you get a full refund. If you cancel after I've started, I refund the price minus the work already done, and I'll show you what that was.

What “done” means

Every quote lists the checks that define “fixed.” When I deliver, you get a proof report: what I ran, what happened, and how to repeat the checks yourself, plus anything I found that is still broken or untested.

If the agreed checks don't pass and I can't make them pass, you get a full refund for that fix.

The report proves what it tested. It isn't a promise that the rest of your app is free of bugs or security problems.

If it breaks again

If a problem I fixed comes back within 30 days in the code as I delivered it, I fix it again at no charge. Changes made after delivery, by you, another developer or an AI tool, aren't covered. Neither are outages or changes at your hosting, database or payment providers. The proof report makes it easy to tell which happened, and I always quote before doing new work.

Your code and access

• You own your app and its code. The changes I make are yours once the job is paid.
• I use your code and access only for the work you asked for. I don't share it, sell it or publish it. If you'd like an NDA, I'll sign a reasonable one before you send anything.
• I use AI coding tools as part of my workflow, set so they don't train on your code. If your code can't go through any AI tool, tell me before I start and I'll quote the work without them.
• Within 14 days after a job ends, I delete my copies of your code and give back or remove any access you gave me. I keep the proof report, the quote and payment records.
• Please don't send passwords, secret keys or real customer data. We'll set up a test login or limited access instead. If a secret gets shared anyway, change it once the job is done.
• I keep my own tools, scripts and general know-how, none of which contain your code.
• I won't name you or your project publicly without your written permission.

Your part

You confirm you have the right to share the code and access you give me. Keep your own backup before work starts. You decide when changes go live, unless the quote says I'll deploy them.

Liability

I work carefully, but software is complicated. To the extent the law allows, my total liability for a job is limited to what you paid for that job, and I'm not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits, revenue or data. Nothing here limits rights you have that can't legally be limited.

Using this website

Please don't use this site or its form to break the law, send malware, spam or scams, submit material you aren't allowed to share, or try to disrupt or get around the site's security. I may stop responding to anyone who does.

The site is provided as is, without a promise that it's always available or error-free. The Noumenon name, design and content belong to Noumenon. Other sites linked from here are covered by their own terms.

Law, changes and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of Florida, and any dispute goes to the courts of Florida. If I change these terms, I'll update the date at the top. The version in effect when you accepted a quote applies to that job.
